When you purchase a flexible adapter or extension cord for AC Connectors, you may notice warning labels wrapped around the cable. You may want to know the purpose of these tags and if there is anything to pay attention to. Please rest assured that these warning labels are standard for all brands and most electronic products.

Although many label warning contents are common sense, it is important to understand them to prevent mistakes:

Check the type of wire
Determine whether the cable is indicated for indoor or outdoor use. Only used for specifying the environment. If marked as' outdoor ', both indoor and outdoor use are safe.
Check the exposed wires
Ensure that there are no exposed wires. If exposed, discard and replace the cable with a new one to avoid electric shock or fire.
Verify power
Confirm that the power of household appliances does not exceed the rated value of the cable. Overloading may cause wires to overheat or malfunction. Reveal: Power=Ampere x Volt.
Avoid physical damage
Do not pull wires from doorways or holes in walls, ceilings, or floors, as this can cause wires to jam or become exposed, leading to overheating or electric shock.
Confirm that the electrical appliance is powered off during insertion
Make sure to turn off household appliances before inserting the wires into the socket to prevent electric arcs from causing electric shock.
Correctly insert the plug
The plug should be fully inserted into the socket. Avoid exposing any part of the plug during electrical operation.
Maintain plug integrity
Do not remove or modify the pins on the plug. If the plug is damaged, replace the entire wire or find an electrician to repair it.
Stay away from water sources
The connection should be kept away from the water source. If the environment is humid, a waterproof cover should be used.
Pet and child protection
Cables should be located away from pets and children to prevent them from being bitten and causing electric shock hazards.
Expand before use
Unfold the cable before use to prevent overheating. Coiled cables can cause heat concentration and cause the outer skin to melt.
Avoid dragging and dropping
Avoid dragging cables as this may cause them to get stuck or peel, exposing the wires inside.
Avoid tripping hazards
Electric wires may pose a tripping hazard. Highlight their positions with cones or brightly colored sheaths.
Improper extraction
Do not pull the wires out of the socket by pulling them. Always pull the plug out safely by gripping the end of the plug.
For temporary use only
The extension cord is for temporary use only. Avoid using them permanently without interruption. If uninterrupted use is necessary, the condition of the cable should be checked regularly.
Unplug when not in use
Be sure to unplug the extension cord or flexible adapter when not in use to ensure safety.
